Amri Kahts

Amri Kahts founded Hypno Health Clinic, focusing on providing Hypno-CBT - a unique approach which integrates clinical hypnosis and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

Amri has a diverse range of skills in the fields of psychology, forensic psychophysiology and hypnosis.

She started her studies in psychology at the University of Pretoria, South Africa (completing BAInl, BSocSci Psych, and MA degrees). Early in her career, Amri worked in several private and public healthcare institutions, gaining valuable experience in interventions, therapy, psychometrics, and research.

In 2005, Amri decided to further her studies and completed training with the Academy for Scientific Investigative Training (ASIT) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, where she qualified as a Forensic Psychophysiologist. Following her training, she opened her first practice in 2006, specialising in forensic psychology.
She gained extensive experience in polygraph testing, interrogations, psychological testing, and employee and candidate assessment.

Amri's interest in the value of clinical hypnosis in therapy led her to continue her specialisation at The UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy, based in London. This institution is the leading hypnotherapy training provider in the UK, championing an evidence-based approach to hypnotherapy training and integrating hypnosis with cognitive behavioural therapy. This approach is based on extensive experimental and clinical research into hypnosis and hypnotherapy.
